Our Journey

Our Journey

What began in 2023 as a single inter-school mathematical-thinking contest in Hong Kong has, in five editions over four years, grown into an education platform spanning the Greater Bay Area and reaching across the nation. On 2 January 2027, the journey converges in Hong Kong — the National Grand Final.

Individual entry

50 questions in 50 minutes, each mapped to one of eight GS thinking
indicators; students completing the school round receive a baseline summary — seeing thinking, not just scores.

Theme "My City Counts": using everyday situations such as taxi fares, fooddelivery routes and waiting times, students understand a problem, make
assumptions, build a model and explain their recommendation.

Theme "Thirty Years · Walking Together — Home and the Greater Bay Area
Through My Eyes": an AI-created short film or comic strip with at least one
sourced "thirty-year change" figure, under the sub-theme "Hong Kong Stories" or "One Heart, One Bay Area".
